Welcome to my F80 2018 BMW M3cs Buyers Guide
I originally purchased my 2018 BMW M3cs brand new in April of 2019 from BMW Murray in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was one of the last new M3cs’s available in the country. It was also one of the last builds for the entire F80 production (10/2018 date). As of this writing I’ve logged just 5,659 miles as it was used as a 3rd vehicle out of 4 cars in my stable for the majority of ownership. Up until recently I’ve downsized my garage and now own only 2 vehicles. One being my daily driver which is a 2017 Toyota Tacoma SR5 and, of course, the M3cs which is my weekend car. Going forward I intend on driving my M3cs more as I can now focus on enjoying it with a simplified 2 car stable.
Ownership History
Over the 4.5 years of ownership I’ve become quite the fanatic over the trim and it’s platform as I think the F80 M3cs is absolute perfection in my eyes. I can’t imagine a better modern car that offers a combination of looks, performance, handling, utility, and best of all a limited production (1,263 worldwide, 607 brought to the USA) to make it a truly rare and special car to own and be proud of.
Website Plans and the Future of This Website
I was inspired to start this website when I realized I plan on keeping this car for as long as I can (hopefully for a lifetime). For as long I’ve owned this car I feel there’s been a void in the M3cs community of a central website with detailed and extensive information about these cars. I sincerely hope to fill that void as time goes on and share all the information that I come across through my blog posts.
I also plan on tracking every F80 M3cs that comes up for sale so that as a community we can easily source one to potentially buy, and, as well, archive each individual example so we can easily go back and reference it’s history and provenance.
