A Few F80 M3 CS Listings I Will Not Be Reviewing…

There is a car for everyone.  Regardless of condition cars come and go.  The F80 M3 CS platform is no different.  I’ve seen some pristine examples and I’ve seen ones with troubled and complex histories.  One thing is for certain there hasn’t been an example I’ve seen listed that didn’t end up exchanging hands.  When I built this blog a short time ago my sole purpose was to document the 607 examples that came to the USA.  My goal is still the same and that’s to record every F80 M3 CS VIN # I see come up for sale.  I decided I will only do extensive reviews on examples that have a strong listing presentation so that I can fairly assess and feel confident I can share my opinions to the readers of this site.

That being said, the following listings below I will not be doing reviews on.  For prospective buyers, I suggest doing your utmost due diligence before purchasing.  This includes, but not limited to:

• Inspecting the car in-person and conducting a 3rd party pre-purchase inspection
• Purchasing your own CarFax or AutoCheck report for you to review to your satisfaction.  Do not rely on history reports that you can’t pull up directly online from CarFax or Autocheck.
• I recommend using a paint meter to help detect repainted panels, if any.
• I’ve found the M3 CS community is fairly tight knit and that you could possibly inquire about any example via the forums boards such as bimmerpost. Again, there were only 607 examples that came to the USA and many have been accounted for.
• The power of google is your friend.  Many enthusiasts that are looking to purchase a car start by doing a google search on the VIN # before even considering a car.  I would recommend doing this with ANY car you are looking to purchase.

For Sale: 2018 BMW M3 CS w/ 31k Miles in San Marino Blue

Here is a 2018 BMW M3 CS for sale (VIN #:  WBS8M9C59J5L71755) in San Marino Blue (SMB).  The listing on M&P Auto Foreign Cars states the vehicle has 31,361 miles.  Per the attached CarFax report it states the vehicle has a clean title and has had 2 previous owners.  $74,900 is the current asking price.  Car is located in Hawthorne, NJ.

For Sale: 2018 BMW M3 CS w/ 23k Miles in Black Sapphire Metallic

Here is a 2018 BMW M3 CS for sale (VIN #:  WBS8M9C56J5K99624) in Black Sapphire Metallic (BSM).  The listing on Autotrader states the vehicle has 22,924 miles.  Per the attached AutoCheck report it states the vehicle has a clean title and has had 2 previous owners.  There is a reported accident on 11/06/2020 as detailed in the 3rd photo below.  $79,000 is the current asking price.  Car is located in Alexandria, VA.

For Sale: 2018 BMW M3 CS w/ 25k Miles in Black Sapphire Metallic

Here is a 2018 BMW M3 CS for sale (VIN #:  WBS8M9C59J5K99844) in Black Sapphire Metallic (BSM).  The listing on Autotrader states the vehicle has 24,500 miles.  Per the attached AutoCheck report it states the vehicle has a clean title and has had 2 previous owners.  There is 2 reported accidents.  One accident reported on 08/16/2022 as detailed in the 2nd and 3rd photo below.  The 2nd reported accident was reported on 01/12/2023 as seen in the 4th photo below.  $67,999 is the current asking price.  Car is located in Houston, TX.
